Hi, I’m Rachel, founder of Intuitively Flexible.
I offer personalized private and group yoga sessions designed to meet your unique needs—whether you’re looking to build strength, improve flexibility, reduce stress, or reconnect with your body.
Yoga has been a part of my life for over 20 years. I was first introduced to it in high school during a dance class, and it continued to reappear throughout my life in meaningful ways. By college, I was practicing regularly, and yoga became a source of grounding, clarity, community, and healing.
In November 2024, I traveled to Bali to complete my 200-hour yoga teacher training, deepening my understanding of alignment, philosophy, pranayama, and meditation.
I returned to Bali in September 2025 to complete an additional 300-hour advanced training, expanding my knowledge of anatomy, alignment, and teaching methodology to better support my students.
In March 2026, I continued my studies with a 30-hour Pilates training, reflecting my commitment to ongoing learning and growth as a teacher.
My teaching style is grounded, compassionate, and highly personalized. Whether you're brand new to yoga or looking to deepen your practice, I aim to create a welcoming, non-judgmental space where students can build strength, improve flexibility, develop body awareness, and connect more deeply with themselves—on and off the mat.
To bring warmth and community to every practice, I offer a complimentary cup of homemade chai after our first session, along with a lavender or eucalyptus towel during each in-person session—a small ritual that helps extend the feeling of relaxation and mindfulness beyond the mat.
I believe yoga should feel supportive, accessible, and deeply nourishing.

Our experience with Rachel was fantastic! She came to our workplace fully prepared with clean equipment and guided us through a yoga session that was perfectly tailored to our group’s skill level. She even ended the class with warm towels infused with essential oils, and hot cocoa, which made the experience feel extra thoughtful and relaxing. I would absolutely recommend her for your next yoga class!

Rachel was a wonderful instructor, she did a morning group session with the ladies at our church - I appreciated her calm presence and detailed instructions, it was very easy to learn and follow along for a beginner like me! I also loved small touches she made to make it a personal, cozy experience, like having us grab a cute cat squishie to indicate if we wanted her to adjust our poses, the lavender scented hot towels for our face at the end of the session and also complimentary magnesium-infused spiced hot cocoa to help us have a calm day afterward. I highly recommend her and would definitely do another session with her!

Do I need yoga experience?
Not at all! Sessions are designed for all levels, including complete beginners.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothing you can move and stretch in. I’ll provide the rest.
Do you provide mats and props?
Yes. Mats, blocks, straps, and other props are available for sessions.
(Indoor mat rental: complimentary or included / Outdoor beach & forest setup may include a small setup fee.)
Do you travel to clients?
Yes — I offer in-home, outdoor, and corporate sessions throughout the Bay Area and coastal regions.
Are outdoor sessions weather-dependent?
Yes. Beach and forest sessions may be adjusted or rescheduled depending on weather conditions.
What areas do you serve?
Based in Palo Alto, serving Menlo Park, Atherton, Los Altos, San Francisco, Half Moon Bay, Santa Cruz, Carmel, and surrounding areas.
What is your cancellation policy?
At least 24 hours’ notice is appreciated for cancellations or rescheduling.
Are sessions refundable?
Generally no, though exceptions may be made for emergencies or special circumstances.
How do consultations work?
Simply send a text or inquiry through the website. We’ll schedule a brief consultation call to discuss goals, experience level, scheduling, and the best session fit.
Are sessions private and personalized?
